I am an illustrator and designer with a focus on publishing, advertising, and editorial projects. Creating connections through visual communication is at the core of my practice, and rather than sticking with one medium, I try to find the best approach that fits each project. Much of my work is informed by my experience with traditional printmaking techniques, hand separating color layers and breaking down the image making process. This has led to designing posters and books in spot color, participating in artist residencies, teaching at RISD, along with visiting various institutions as as a guest critic (MICA, Nottingham Trent Unitversity, Umass Dartmouth, SVA, KCAI and many others). Currently I divide my time between publishing projects and editorial work.
